Have been a long time since I blog but is because I have been searching for a job, is depressing being at home all the time and also go to interviews and wait to be called for a second round of interviews, makes me feel like I´m dating you know with boys and all that, anyway it has been more that a month without a job and I´m getting tired but I would try to maintain positive, but sometimes is hard.

Ha pasado un tiempo desde que publique en el blog y es que he estado buscando trabajo, es deprimente estar en casa todo el tiempo y tambien ir a entrevistas y esperar que te llamen para una segunda ronda de entrevistas, me siento como si estuviera en citas con chicos y asi, en fin ya paso mas de un mes sin trabajo y me estoy cansando pero me mantendre positiva, pero a veces es dificil.

En fin mi inspiracion para un post se fue por un tiempo pero estoy empezando a sentir que vuelve asi que aqui estoy, manteniendome positiva! asi que estoy de vuelta.

Here in Mexico many people is crazy about this watch, they called the attention with the bright colors, somehow reminds me to those neon colors on the movie of the fifth element.

Im not the type of girl that want to be a follower but this item drives me crazy hahha well not that much, but I definitely want one... maybe. I should wait for my Bday and some one might give me one... sure diana.

What are some of your plans?

You know, I have many projects, but as a Russian, I am very superstitious, and nothing is totally clarified. I think it will be [clearer] in one month. It’s just one week since I left the magazine, but I have a lot of ideas. It will of course be in fashion, but I don’t know exactly which way—magazines or maybe the muse of someone, I don’t know exactly. But what I’m sure of, because I discovered this at the end of my decade [at Vogue], it’s very important to help young designers. My last issue is the March issue, and it’s dedicated to young designers, no advertisers, just young designers, because I think they really need the support…When you meet these kids, you learn a lot from them, and I think it gives them a lot of positive energy…I definitely want to work on a project with young designers, not just French but international…I grew up and I think I have better ideas than I had ten years ago. [For the last ten years] I didn’t have a lot of time to think about the big picture or how fashion is going to be in some years. Now it’s a good moment for me to think about fashion for today, because a lot of things have changed, and when you’re working you don’t see all these things changing. But when you stop, you can see it. You have to understand the new way of working with fashion.

I´m throwing party for christmas... sort of, in mexico is called POSADA and almost everyone trhow one before christmas date, you invite your friends and eat lot of food, broke a piñata, give bags of candies for the guest, drink a lot or just a little and lot of fun things... so I dont if I will follow each part of the tradition but the idea is get together with everyone.

Anyway, everyone will bring a special dinner plate an I will try to make cupcakes... so here are some ideas so I can get inspired are gorgeous hopefully I can bake come like these =).

PARTY MAKE UP FOR THIS SEASON

What I´ve been seen lately are different ways to make up this season and get ready for the party.

I will put with some images some of the different looks you may get, of course you must think first on the place were your are going to use it.

NUDE LOOK

To get this look must use only earth colors, try to keep it as natural you can. Some beige shadows and beige lipstick or a soft pink, the idea is to appear thats you arrive without make up and t

hat you look gorgeous as natural.

This is ideal for those classic nights or this dinner were you want to be appreciate as a serious woman and at the same time relaxed.

FEMME FATAL

Need to get some dark shadows but still will not apply that much you need to keep the main focus at your lips that need to be really red (you may f

ind different types of reds accord to your skin type). Also the cheeks must be with a pink blush.

You may use this look for a dat out with your boyfriends or a night out with your friends, believe me you will found some kind of confidence with this look I believe make us feel sexier.

SMOKEY EYES

Oh yeah they still will be here this season, I know may not been very close in this picture but the idea is to see the all the make up working with the outfit.

You must first get the smokey eye finish as shadow (there are lots of tutorials at you tube to get them, asking if you need a link) then some earth colors on your cheeks and as the image nude lips with earth color lipstick.

You can use it in a formal party o any formal event I will give you as an advise us it on places were you really need to show off.

So let me talk about the current things that are happening in my life, I work part time in a telemarketing job which is the place where people from USA talk when has issues with their mobiles (not a good job but the pay is great) .

Also the other half time of my day Im doing an internship at a local tv station which is very popular here, its called TELEVISA its a big opportunity on the entertainment business, Its really fun and I have met some national and international celebrities.

So this is about my work life... hopefully one of the next months I can quit my telemarketing job and only focus on my journalism career.

What are you wearing today?
Some Balenciaga jeans that I fought over with my friend because we both wanted them. She did the sneaky and went back to buy them later. Every time we walk past Koh Samui [on Monmouth Street in London], we end up dropping literally hundreds of pounds in there. I've got really scrawny legs, but I have hips, so I can't find any jeans that fit me. When I tried these on, I nearly cried and then handed over the money. They were £160. My T-shirt is from my friend's band, and I bought my jacket in a thrift store. I'm obsessed with nautical things and it has gold buttons with anchors on. It makes me feel a bit like a sailor, or a public schoolboy, which is my favourite look in the whole world.

Where are your shoes from?
Dries Van Noten. I got them from Poste Mistress in Monmouth Street. They were the last ones in my size. I'm already quite tall and they make me stupidly tall - I feel as if I'm wearing stilts.

Describe your style.
I don't like to look too neat. On TV I wear dresses mostly. If I'm not wearing a dress, then I'm always wearing jeans and band T-shirts. I have doubles of everything because I keep buying the same thing. I have lots of cable-knit cardigans and a variety of blazers.

On what occasion do you think you looked your best?
Annoyingly, looking my best always happens when I'm on my own at night and I'm about to go to sleep. I never think I look that nice. I prefer it when I look like a boy to when I have to dress up like a girl.

How long does it take you to get dressed?
Not very long, about 20 minutes. I usually just put on trousers and whatever I've been wearing in bed. My cupboards are ridiculous. I've got too many clothes and not enough space, so I forget what's at the back of my wardrobe and I end up wearing the same thing for months, while the rest gets pushed further and further back.

Tell me about your jewellery.
The bird thing is a kaleidoscope. I bought it from the kids' department in Harvey Nichols, and the fruit watch-necklace is by Marc Jacobs. I had a wolf ring that I used to wear every day. The best person in the world gave it to me, but then we fell out massively and since then I've lost it. It's heartbreaking.

Whose style do you admire?
I'm kind of obsessed with the Olsen twins. I find them amazing because they look like little well-dressed animals.
What would you never wear?
Probably a unitard. And I don't like T-shirts that are cut for girls.

What's your grooming routine?
I'm definitely low maintenance, but I need liquid eyeliner with me at all times so I look more like a cat. Without makeup, I look about five.

How much time and energy do you spend shopping?
My life is one ongoing shopping trip. I can always manage to find something to buy - if I'm in an airport, I'll buy one of those dog-breed bags or something. Yesterday I bought a hat. When I leave my house to get a coffee, I end up wandering into a nearby vintage shop and buying something I don't really need, or already have.

Are you happy with the way you look?
I am now, yes. When I was young I wanted to be blond. I was gutted that I had dark hair. When I was modelling, I always wanted to look like another girl, because you were always being given reasons why you didn't get something, such as "If you were two inches taller ... " or, "If you were blond ... " but now that doesn't matter. I'm happy I cut my hair off because I felt like a dog in a wig before. I want to feel as if I'm wearing a shorter wig. I want to look like Natalie Portman in Leon.

30´s The well dress lady, with all the correct and appropiate manners, gives us this air of a hollywood star also the casual outfit inspires a look of the good girl. (Useful in a formal event)

60´s and 70´s The rock´n´roll revolution, with all the rebel manners helps us to create this crazy looks totally retro, also the boho and hippie look aswell the boylike look that comes with the girls revolution. (When you want to have this retro air)

80´s The punk style mixed with a little of madonna.
Its something that you can love it o hate it but still let us some ideas for those crazy nights. (The basic use of this trends are for calling the attention)

90´s Oh yes the generation X just a square shirt (I dont know te name in engish sorry ...) and a ripped jean, adding a grease and messy hair you can have that look. (We use this trend when we want to make an statement, "I dont care what you think".)
